"Adventure Instructor"

Position Type: Part Time - Variable hours (Max 25 per week)

Job Summary: The Adventure Instructor position is responsible for implementing educational programming with an emphasis on experiential education methodology. This position will collaborate with other instructors, both paid part time and volunteer, to lead activities and lessons. Additional responsibilities include preparing materials and maintaining a safe, fun environment. 

Qualifications:  Applicants should have a strong belief in, and understanding of, hands-on, experiential teaching methodology.  Basic knowledge of chemistry, biology, robotics, rock climbing, and shooting sports are a plus.  Must be capable of independent work.  Flexibility and high energy required.  

The ideal candidate for this position loves working with youth and has a flexible schedule. 

First aid demonstration Rock Gym Instructor

"Daycamp Instructor"


Position Type: Seasonal

Job Summary: This position actively supervise children (grades 1-8) in a day camp setting while implementing creative, hands-on, interactive, STEM based activities following established curriculum. Camp activities may include but are not limited to robotics, chemistry, biology, and arts and crafts. Additional responsibilities include preparing materials and maintaining a safe, fun environment. Additional activites cover rock climbing, archery, and BB shooting in our indoor facility.

Work hours are 8:00am-5:00pm M-F

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in education or related field, from four-year college or university; or minimum four years related experience and/or; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education experience should be with children grade 1-8. Applicants should have a strong belief in, and understanding of, hands-on, experiential teaching methodology. Basic knowledge of chemistry, biology, and robotics preferred. Must be capable of independent work. Flexibility and high energy required.

Candidate must be available to work M-F from June 1 to July 31.
